I love monsoon, the monsoon is a lifeline for ecosystems and agriculture in the regions it touches. After months of scorching heat and dwindling water sources, the monsoon’s arrival brings relief in the form of torrential rains. In India, the season of monsoon stays for more than 3 months spreading greenery everywhere.
River level increases, fields become verdant once more, and dormant seeds burst forth with renewed vigor. The monsoon breathes life into the land, sustaining a delicate balance of flora and fauna and providing sustenance for countless species. The water scarcity is eliminated.
Moreover, the monsoon holds a special place in the hearts and minds of the people who experience it firsthand. Its arrival is celebrated with festivals, rituals, and prayers, as communities come together to welcome the life-giving rains.
The monsoon is not just rain; it’s a symbol of resilience, adaptability, and the enduring bond between humanity and the natural world. That’s the reason Monsoon is my favorite weather.
