Christmas : It’s the best time of the year !

What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?

Many people find Christmas special due to the festive atmosphere, the joy of giving and receiving, spending time with loved ones, and the sense of goodwill that often accompanies the holiday season.

The joy of visiting everyone’s house and singing Christmas carols makes me feel overwhelmed and blessed. Before Christmas we gather at our native chapel and dress the kids with cosplay depicting the birth of Jesus. The group includes Joseph, Mother mary, a doll as Jesus, Shepherd, 4 Angels and Three Kings.

After reaching at the house we sing carol singing with guitar and drums to spread the joy in the family, followed by a short dance by the Santa clause along with the family members. That is the best moment to watch out for.

Houses are often decorated for Christmas with various festive elements such as lights, wreaths, ornaments, and Christmas trees. Indoor decorations may include stockings, garlands, and other ornaments. Outdoor displays often feature lights, inflatable figures, and other seasonal decor. The style and extent of decorations can vary widely, allowing individuals to express their unique holiday spirit.

During Christmas people often prepare variety of festive snacks and treats. Plum cake, Ginger bread, are my favorites.

Many churches offer Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, typically starting around midnight to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Additionally, some churches have Christmas Day services in the morning. It’s common for people to attend Mass during these times as part of their Christmas celebrations.

Christmas snacks !

I like Christmas because it creates a festive atmosphere. Decorations, lights, and festive music create a joyful and celebratory ambiance. Christmas often brings loved ones together, strengthening bonds and creating cherished memories.

8 Rules of Love !

What book are you reading right now?

I am currently reading a book of ‘8 Rules of Love’ by Jay Shetty. I became a fan of Jay Shetty after reading ‘Think like a monk’. Here’s the overview of the book ‘8 Rules of Love’.

The author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Think Like a Monk offers a revelatory guide to every stage of romance, drawing on ancient wisdom and new science.

Nobody sits us down and teaches us how to love. So we’re often thrown into relationships with nothing but romance movies and pop culture to help us muddle through. Until now.

Instead of presenting love as an ethereal concept or a collection of cliches, Jay Shetty lays out specific, actionable steps to help you develop the skills to practice and nurture love better than ever before. He shares insights on how to win or lose together, how to define love, and why you don’t break in a break-up.

Inspired by Vedic wisdom and modern science, he tackles the entire relationship cycle, from first dates to moving in together to breaking up and starting over. And he shows us how to avoid falling for false promises and unfulfilling partners.

By living Jay Shetty’s eight rules, we can all love ourselves, our partner, and the world better than we ever thought possible.

Always being Cheerful.

What’s the first impression you want to give people?

Smile is the first impression I give to people when come across them. I learned this from tourists and people from western countries.

Dubai attracts more than 1 Million tourists per year. Beautiful beaches, record-breaking attractions and experiences like no other – Dubai is the place to be in 2023. It’s no wonder we’ve been named Tripadvisor’s #1 Most Popular Destination in the World for the second year running. (Source : Visit Dubai)

Whenever I come across any foreign tourist and if i randomly made an eye contact , they give a smile while passing by. That lights up your mood. Imagine you are greeting a person who doesn’t know you. That shows your personality to others.

So next time you put a smile on your face when you come across anyone then will surely benefit you in future. The first impression plays an important role in building relations with the stranger. Whether it is in your career life or personal.

So always make sure to smile. Thank you.

Geography : My favourite subject in school !

world map illustration

What was your favorite subject in school?

Geography is the study of places and the relationships between people and their environments.

Geography was my most favorite subject in High school. During school whole subject was covering with information related to different countries in the world. Different cultures, tradition, peoples with information were covered in this topic.

During school days books were the only option where I would learn about the geography of the world. The subject was the combination of Geography and Economics where 32 marks questions consist of geography and rest other related to economics.

I was not much fond of economics as it was about social science that focuses on the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services, and analyzes the choices that individuals, businesses, governments, and nations make to allocate resources.

But now it all make sense now. Today’s government system and everything all based on economics. Elections, Politics is everywhere now.

But all I can say is that I am grateful that I got to learn about the interesting information about the world. Do check my other blogs on

Buying Iphone 14.

Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).

There was a time when I would not even think of buying an iPhone. When I was in Higher Secondary School I got my first Java phone Nokia 1800. During my diploma in engineering , I had a black berry 9800 which was a classic phone as that phone had both touchscreen and qwerty keypad options.

As I started receiving stipend of 5000 INR, I got my first ever phone which is Micromax. Little did I know that the storage was only 8 gb of which 2 GB is consumed by apps itself. It was difficult but I managed to use it for 4 years.

Then once I got by first job, I bought Lenovo P1M40a. That phone I still use to watch cricket matches.

And now I bought first iPhone 14. This was the moment where I felt that my life is going good. After all these years of struggle, I am finally earning a decent income to get iPhone. And I pray that in next coming years I will be growing in my career and get something more expensive than smartphone.

ICC Men’s World Cup 2023

After four years, ICC World cup is back in India. Ten teams have been qualified for the group stage in which, 4 teams will make it to semi finals. Followed by top two teams will fight for the top spot. This tournament is unpredictable as all the teams have been in great form since their last matches. We could see multiple disappointments and surprise in this upcoming tournament.

Captains of Mens Cricket teams.

Here is the list of my top 5 favorites who will be competing in the main tournament starting from October 5.

India is the most favorites to be the champions as they are the hosts for ICC World cup 2023. India has a very good record winnings in their home series. The team led by Virat Kohli is confident with their squad and will be looking forward to easily slide into the semi finals. India have been a world champions in 1983 and 2011.

You can check out my blog on India vs Pakistan

Pakistan has emerged as a top ranked team in One day international matches in last few months. Not only their batting line up is strong, but also he likes of Shaheen Afridi and Haris rauf has cemented the team to become the champions. Pakistan team have finally arrived Hyderabad,India. They will be playing in India after 7 years.

Securing place at no. 3 Australia will face their first match against India on October 8, Sunday. Like India, Australia to have quality players in all sections of their team, their middle order has proved to be the best when chasing the target. During warm up match against Netherlands,A half-century for Steve Smith and a hat-trick to Mitchell Starc were the bright spots for the five-time champions in a game that was reduced to 23-overs-a-side due to a delayed start. It will be a good contest to watch Australia play their first game against India.

World cup 2019 champs England will be confident to begin their World cup journey and eyeing to continue the winning streak. The defending champions England cricket team arrived in India on Thursday ahead of the first warmup match against India on Saturday. England were the only side to beat India in the league stage of the 2019 ODI World Cup, after which India jettisoned their two-wrist spinner strategy.

New Zealand’s performance was nothing short of spectacular. They chased the massive target of 346 in 43.5 overs with 5 wicket left. Even though Shaheen Shah Afridi didn’t bowl, they made light work of a daunting 345-run chase. New zealand faced an early setback when opening batsman Conway was dismissed for a golden duck. Ravindra’s innings gave momentum to their batting line up but he felt short of a well-deserved century. Williamson capitalized on the opportunity for valuable batting practice and retired after reaching his half-century.

The only concerned in this tournament is the rain. Most of the warm up matches were abandoned. This will be frustrating to see the teams getting knocked out due to it. But all we can do is stay positive and expect that this tournament will be best one ever.
