Mumbai Indians Lost to Rising Pune Supergiants in the Qualifiers by Struggling to came up in strong batting and losing 4 wickets on 50 runs. But still theres second chance for them with The eliminator was to be held in Bangalore between Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders.
The second Eliminator Clash was not that epic because the Fierce bowling attack from KKR restricted SRH to just 120 runs with 3 wickets to spare, Nathan Coulter Nile the Aussie bowler brag 3 wickets while Yadav,Marine,Chawala with 1,2,1 each. David Warner was best performance in a team with 34 runs.
But it was a difficult situation in Bangalore as there were Showers for almost 3 hours. So its was a tough decision of what may the result if it doesn’t stop raining. So after the covers were off the game was resume with following Conditions :
- The second innings was reduced to 6 Overs.
- 48 runs were to chased with the Run Rate of 6:00.
The KKR lost two wickets in first over of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and than second of Chris Jordan Over. They too felt a little pressure and lost wickets in a hurry. But Gautam Gambhirs 34* marched them to victory eliminating SRH out of the tournament. It was a pity for David Warner as he was still the highest Run scorer in this Season of IPL 2017.
So now KKR will face Mumbai Indians on Friday and the winner will have an epic clash with Rising Pune Supergiants.
I would personally like Mumbai Indians to win and head to Final as it will be a amazing Maharashtra Derby !
