Gym Life!

College days are the days where you are always motivated to many things. Most of the times when you see your old friend whose once was a skinny kid is now hunk first thing you compliments is about his physique.

I was too very skinny fellow whose riding a bicycle to go to school and  college everyday for years, so I had made a wonderful decision to join Gym with my colleagues. First day I was too nervous and shy to see the people staring at me. Thanks to the Gym Trainer who Advised me about the cons and with proper diet and some warm up exercises .

The first two months is always the test for newbies as they quit thinking its difficult and some succeeds with confidence . The first week was so painful when I do Push ups and Suryanamaskars  i feel as if my pecs muscles tearing as it stretches. Mom was the person who always demotivates me saying gym is not for you and that she will not take care whenever I ll fall ill .πŸ˜‚

Few months later I started getting compliments from the peoples whom I met after long time and I felt it too . This happens because people whom you meet everyday will not see changes in you, The reps increased from 5 to 10 to 20 and so on. My weight increasing from 58 to 75 Kgs in a year. One thing I hated is that when I tried to workout many people used gives tips in many different ways which can put you in danger to my health , but I ignored them and used to follow what my trainer guided.

I didn’t never had supplement as I didn’t want to be like a Body Builder to take part in competitions only that I wanted is to transformed myself . In college days we got lots of time but the day when you start to working it becomes difficult. But whenever I am free  I start with daily push ups and some sets with Barbells finishing off with Squats. 😊
Following Quotes have always been motivated me whenever I feel giving up.

  1.  Pain is weakness leaving the body
  2. Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent.
  3. Failure is only a temporary change in direction to set you straight for your next success.
  4. If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail
  5. The worst thing you can be is average.
  6. Go hard or go home.
  7. EAT BIG, LIFT BIG, GET BIG!
  8. When it starts to hurt, thats when the set starts.
  9. With great size comes great responsibility.
  10. No Pain No Gain.

    1. Even I’ve a similar story. I joined gym last year in September. And I like the transformation.
But right now I’m on a break because of my exams. And yes the unnecessary tips are very annoying. Why can’t those people mind their own business? I follow what my trainer says. πŸ˜ƒβœŒ

      1. Because these people usually the ones who workout for 2-3 years so they think they are pros and wants us to be like them. We are not a Robots where you will be having the same parts as others.

      2. My quality will be I ll be getting bigger biceps in less time and yours will be bigger Pecs. So ignore those and just follow you and your trainer. All the best mate and thanks for showing interest in my blog πŸ‘
